After Almost 22 Years, We Say Thank You and Goodbye!
Dear guests, dear friends of Hotel-Restaurant Ochsen in Binzen,
After almost 22 years, the time has come for us to close a very special chapter of our lives.
With the end of our lease on December 31, 2026, I will be retiring.
When we look back, what comes to mind first are the many people, encounters, and shared experiences that made this time so special.
We will never forget our special events: Tavola Antinori, the wine events with Alexander Baron von Essen, the summer Gourmet Mile, Rebkultour with our fellow winemakers and restaurateurs from Binzen, and, of course, the legendary open-air “Advent Event” party with the Patchwork Band.
These were not simply events – they were shared experiences and memories that will stay with us.
Our special thanks go to you, dear guests, for your loyalty, your trust, and the many wonderful hours I had the privilege of sharing with you. Over the years, many guests became friends – and it is these personal connections that I will miss most of all.
Naturally, we leave with both a smile and a tear in our eyes. We are looking forward to this new chapter of our lives and to having more time for family, friends, and all the things that sometimes had to take a back seat. At the same time, we look back on 22 years at the Ochsen with immense gratitude.
Thank you for your loyalty. Thank you for your trust. And thank you for the many wonderful memories.
We wish you all the very best from the bottom of our hearts, good health, and many beautiful moments.
And perhaps our paths will cross again someday – no longer as host and guest, but simply over a good glass of wine.
